- A randomly generated guest identifier is created on your device so your catches can be attributed to you without requiring an account.
During multiplayer (Fun Fishing and Duels):
- Your boat's position, heading, boat mode, lure state, and hooked-fish details are shared in real time with other players in the same lobby so everyone sees the same live action.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate your account and authenticate you;
- Record and display your catches, tournament results, and duel outcomes;
- Show your gamertag and boat on leaderboards and in live lobbies;
- Keep shared fish populations synchronized across all anglers in a lobby;
- Restore and restock fish populations in Fun Fishing lobbies;
- Compute profile statistics and personal bests;
- Communicate with you about your account and important Game updates;
- Detect and prevent cheating, abuse, and fair-play violations.
3. What We Share
- Public visibility: Your gamertag, catches, tournament rankings, and duel results may be visible to other players on leaderboards and in lobbies.
- Live lobby data: Other players in your lobby can see your boat's live position and activity; this is necessary for the shared multiplayer experience.
- Service providers: We rely on trusted third-party providers for hosting, authentication, and data storage; these providers process data on our behalf to operate the Game.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the Game and its players.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention
- We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active.
- Catch and tournament records may be retained to preserve historical leaderboards and statistics, even if you later delete your account, though your gamertag may be anonymized.
- Guest data is associated with a device-generated identifier and may be retained for leaderboard and statistical purposes.

The Game may use essential technical storage necessary for authentication and session continuity. Analytics may be used to understand how the Game is used and to improve it.

- You can update your gamertag and boat color from your profile at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account through the Game's support channels. Note that anonymized historical records may remain on leaderboards.

The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
